It was March 2013, Jason and his wife had been married almost a year, they had just bought their first home and were excitedly expecting their first child. They had a combined annual income of almost $200,000. They were living the “American Dream.” Or so they thought. Despite that income, at the end of every two weeks, they were out of money and realized they were $110,000 in debt.
Fortunately, they were taught the proper way to handle money and applied those principles to their lives. They began to save, to budget and learn the power of contentment. 17 months later they were debt free except the mortgage and on a solid financial foundation.
They now have two beautiful biological children and are foster parents. Jason’s wife was able to make the decision to stay home with their children. That decision also led the family to becoming foster parents!
As soon as Jason experienced the power of proper money management, it immediately became a passion in his life. Through ministry, personal coaching and workplace wellness programs, Jason’s mission: “To educate, equip and empower so that finances are not a barrier to achieving goals and fulfilling dreams” is becoming a reality for many families!
