A native of Flint, Michigan - the murder capital of the United States - Big Zo was raised in a one parent home. Learning how to cope with the challenges of life, he became addicted to drugs which led to a crime that put Big Zo in prison.

After serving his sentence, he tried to get a job but no one gave him an opportunity so he started his own business and he called it “So Fresh, So Clean.” As a Service Specialist (aka Bathroom Attendant), Big Zo specializes in serving people and this is what his life’s mission is everyday - serve people. If you stop by the Wildhorse Saloon downtown Nashville you will probably meet Big Zo in the Men’s Room.

In addition to his own business, Big Zo is on staff at the Tennessee Mental Health Consumers Association (TMHCA) where he helps people overcome their addictions to experience freedom and joy.
